This site is fabulous. It gives us new homeowners a place to bounce ideas off eachother and learn from others.

I was reading the "Parking @ GA" thread and could not help but laugh. It seems that many have chosen to engage themselves in online "beef" here. I wonder how others out here feel about it.

I've kept myself entertained, reading about everything from alleged racist childcare hunters, to teacher bashing. What gives ?

bick·er (bkr)
intr.v. bick·ered, bick·er·ing, bick·ers
1. To engage in a petty, bad-tempered quarrel; squabble. See Synonyms at argue.

A petty quarrel; a squabble.

The forum is a great meeting and learning tool, but it would get a little boring if there was no "bickering". I love it when the bickering starts. That's the" fun" part of the forum, as long as it keeps under control, of coarse.
Tell me you don't log onto the forum more often when, there's a little heated discussion going on.

I have been on this site far too long, probably about 3 years. it is very cyclical. I see the same stuff (good and bad) just different names attatched to it.

It is a simple application of John Gabrial's Greater Internet ****** Theorem

http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2004/03/19/ (Not exactly PG)

As the community grows, so does the anonymity, and the likely hood you can say anything you please without having to face, in person, the people who you attack.
