ugh... I can't blame you for feeling that way... though it seems like they got their stuff together now based on our appointment. Who is your consultant?

April, Joel, Andrea, it was really nice to meet you guys last week!! How cool was that??!!! All of us at the design center on the same day. I did happen to meet another guy...we kept borrowing the same cabinet colour for sometime!!...not sure if he's here on the forum though.

We did have our appointment this monday..it went well!! We're all done.....although the handles we wanted for the kitchen cabinets are still on hold, since the price was'nt available with our DC!! We'll be at the design center today, so hope to meet some of you there!

Hope your appointment's going well, Andrea...

Other than that...This is it....just a few more weeks to go.... :D WE ARE SO EXCITED......YIPEE!!!

Hi guys,

I was at the design center today for my appointment. I am so happy to tell you that I am done. No more design center. I have made all my choices and paid what needed to be paid and I am finished. Yipp yipp yippee!!!! Okay I am more then a little happy about that. It was just so stressful and it wasn't fun anymore. My DC Colette was fantastic though. She was very sympathetic to my plight and she made it very bearable. So Colett if you are on the website any time THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

Hi Mainstreet towners, here is your update for the site this past weekend. It seems they are getting ready to pour the concrete floors of our homes. They have begun to backfill the foundations with dirt.

These are lots 185-05-07

This is my lot.

These pictures are on Lot 186 facing the village square. These lots have the tarp over them with the tank at the side of each lot heating the foundation so they can be back filled as well in preparation for pouring the foundation floor.

Enjoy!

Wow...that was a quick reply :) Hahaha...I know, I can't wait to move into our unbuilt house already. I dream about it all the time!!! We were at the sales centre last week, someone bought lot#78. Now if we can only find them on this forum....

Ya I'm at "work" soooooooo... doesn't take long to answer when I get the notification ;-) Did you see how many lots are left?? I think 76 was gone before we bought.. but they haven't spoken up if they've found us here yet... We were originally supposed to be the last house built but I guess they're pushing back dates now.. Hope we're not living in a construction zone too long..

sorry, i'm trying to be supermom right now, trying to type with one hand with a baby crawing & climbing all over me... :P from what i remember... i think lot 77 & 71 are still vacant. i don't quite remember much about the lots behind us, although i do recall lots 69 & 70 are vacant as well. Still trying to find 76 & 73.

No need to apologize... lord knows I know what it feels like to try and get anything done with two children who are obsessed with making sure you get nothing done but looking after anything and everything they want ;-) Have you guys done any of your upgrades yet?

not yet, still waitng for our upgrade package... it's so difficult cuz i know everything will cost an arm & a leg...we're probably going to get a lot done after closing.

I could scan ours and email it to you later if you guys want it. Obviously a different model, but it would give you an idea. We ended up getting stuff that couldn't be done afterwards, or wasn't unreasonable, but you could easily spend a LOT of money... we spend 30k on upgrades on our first mattamy without even breaking a sweat, we tried to keep it down this time, but still spent a good chunk of change...

I blew 29k on my Castlegate upgrades. It was hard to keep things reasonable but I like to live posh.

I am supposed to be going back to the DC as the cabinet supplier has changed since I finalized everything in October.

Anyways I will be the odd ball on the block. I'm single, 26 and NO kids. I'll apologize in advance now and will try to keep the noise down! :P

Oh Reg,
I am feeling you on that one. The living posh and all. I would like to say that I kept things at a minimum as I had planned when we first met but I think I might have to rob a bank to pay for the 35+ K I spent on my Rothmill.

Okay can I be nosey and ask you what you upgraded in your Castlegate :?: :D

Good luck with your selection at the DC.
