Hey Koz is yours the Valleymore being built right now???

Who wants to meet up next Saturday at the site just to say hi during their weekly visit? And of course what time would be good? We're usually there 9:45 am after our daughters swim lessons but we live 5 minutes away so whenever is good. Bueller? Anyone??

;-)

So Rob and Jen, and April and Joel, are you guys going to go up to the site tomorrow?

I am planning to go and then go to the home show in the afternoon. I will probably be up at the site around 9-10 and then the home show starts at 10 am and goes until 9pm
Hopefully I will see some of you. I heard from a friend of mine that my block has windows and doors and our roofs have been shingled.
Can't wait until tomorrow.
talk to you later

We'll be there doing our "after swimming" check around 9:45, I know April was going around 12:30ish, I dunno if we can make that one yet... but maybe we'll see you there Andrea :)

Well then Rob and Jen I hope to see you there. I drive a gray Mazda 3 and youv'e seen my picture on the website. I will leave my house around 9 am.

April and Joel,
Sorry I won't meet you up there but feel free to walk around my unit and check it out. Was there anything at the home show that really impressed you? Anything in particular i should check out. I ususally go on two separate days to the home show because I can never do the whole thing in 1 day.

Hi neighbours,

Here is your weekly look at the site. Block 185 we have windows and doors installed. I went inside my ground floor and it looks like they have begun to insulate between the homes and bagun to put up the duct work.
Here are some photos for you to paruse.

A look at the whole block

Enjoy the pics.
Rob and Jen, Sorry I missed you guys today. I didn't get to the site until around 9:55am or so. I thought I saw you but it turned out to be the older couple that is moving into the Rothmill like mine behind me facing the park. I didn't get to say hello to them :( and i don't know if they know about this great website. Oh well. Maybe I will catch you guys up there another time. I am planning to go back tomorrow to see what they did in the house. The workers were working today and I couldn't get to go upstairs. I will probably go up in the afternoon after work. Maybe around 3ish.

They had a great deal at the Future Shop booth...$999 for a Samsung washer & dryer pair! We had to get it! we also ended up purchasing an OTR microwave from Samsung to match our range. They had some great deals :D

Just curious, what kind of washer/dryer they had there? cubic feet-wise?

Thanks for posting these pics Andrea, your homes look great so far! I went by the site today in the afternoon...I can't believe how fast these homes are going up! Andrea, how was the home show? April I didn't end up going to the home show today. I should have gone right after being at the site but I didn't and when I got home, things came up and then the snow and i just wasn't about to go downtown in that so i will have to try again during the week this week.

Hey Konstantin, the Samsung washer we bought is 3.6 cu.ft. & the dryer is 7.0 cu.ft. They were selling them at their boxing day prices...only for the show though. They had quite a few different brands like LG, GE, Whirlpool etc.. but we found that the best deal they had was the samsung pair :D . The pair that we bought normally sells for $1619.

April, thanks a lot for the tip. We went there today and ended up buying the LG pair, also a nice bargain vs. the store price.

I'm so glad you found something you liked. Were you able to see everything?

We were at the show on Saturday ... saw some nice stuff ... including this beautiful 5 1/2 x 3 1/2 Solid Marble Top table ... to bad I think its too big for our place!

Yes saw the Future Shop Deals on the Washer & Dryer they also had some good prices on 3 piece appliances.

Konstantin - How much was the LG pair? And how big was the washer?

Andrea - Thanks for posting the pics!!!

I was at the site this afternoon showing my inlaws and sis-in-law our piece of Milton! Actually it was the first time that I was able to walk on the lot itself .... couldn't find a stake on the ground that said Lot 71 though?!?!

Glad you like the turret. Wait until you see the moat!

Thanks again for the update. I've been in Mexico - apparently they've been working while I was away!

Not quite everything, as we had our 15-month son with us, and he is not yet entirely into home design :) But a nice show overall, gave us some ideas...

We paid $1299 for the pair, the washer is 3.6 cubic feet. It had some features that suit us better than the Samsung one.

Hi Magurn Laners,

I was up at the site yesterday evening and they have poured the front porches! No pictures yet. I am at work and don't have them with me. Not much has changed though.

The home show was really good. I didn't buy anything but I did pick up that Brick sales certificate. I may go after work tonight.

That's late notice, considering I haven't even got the letter yet. I guess I'll see you there!
