We haven't received ours yet. I wonder if we're invited? Do you think that maybe we have a different one to go to because we close later?

Oh I hope not. I wanna meet you guys. But you know, that is totally possible. The best way to find out is to e-mail your customer care co ordinator and ask them. That is what I did and then the invite came in the mail the following week.

I agree Reg, it is really late notice considering the RSVP request was for March 1 and i recieved it March 2.

Nope got nothing!

Although want to say that we've pretty much decided that we're going for CS-21 as our brick colour!

What did you all pick again?

CS-21 is a lighter brick its got some grey and brown tones.

Given that there's no elevation that's all brick for our home and have to choose siding we also like the darker grey siding that comes with CS-21 rather than the lighter beiges or browns.

I'll check CS-19 tonight as we will meet Andrea to confirm our choice.

I got the call today but I'm going to pass. I've been through this all before with my 1st Mattamy home and it's a waste of time. There's nothing to sign off on and it's basically a narrated tour of what you go see on your own at the site.

I hear what your saying Reg but you know this is the first time I have bought where I can walk through it before delivery and I have a ton of questions about what i am seeing inside my walls for the builder.

I would recommend doing it regardless... and bring a camera, and snap pictures of EVERYTHING.... in our last house Mattamy "forgot" about one of our upgrades and the framewalk helped us resolve that problem.....

Hi everyone,

I hope things are well with all. We have all been so quiet on the thread lately.
Well I wanted to let all the Towners of block 185 know that they have started to brick our homes.
I must say I really like the colour of the brick so far.

This is the brick work being done

This is my garage up close. I think the colour is really nice. :)

Hi Andrea!

Thanks for the pics ... the brick looks like the one available on the CS18 selection ... I think Roman Red .... this was our second choice.

Really  The sales center told me that it was called Old Brant. They didn't have any samples to show me when I asked and I think that the link you showed me does look like the brick I have. HMMM!!! I will have to ask what the real colour is at my frame walk today.

No problem about the pictures. The detached on that has been started up there has their brick work started as well. Theirs is a lighter brown. I will try to get pics of that one today.

It was really great meeting my neighbours last night at Mattamy U. I was able to meet 2 couples and 1 guy who were not previously on the thread. Well I hope the rest of you will get to meet them online soon. We have hooked them up with the website address and the name of the thread.

Irene and Dayanand it was great seeing you guys again last night. Welcome back from your trip. Glad you had a good time. Your frame walk should be coming up really soon. Mine was on Monday and it went well I think. The builder was great and he explained everything. A lot of it went right over my head but he explained things. I anticipate the next time I am up there on the weekend they will have insulated and have started the drywall process. Two and a bit short months to go. :D

Hi Magurn Lane & Gate'rs...

Hope everyone's doing well!

Andrea - Thanks for keeping up with the pics ... any new ones? I was at our site last Sunday but was not able to take alot of pics ... I did get a souvenir though a screw right through the tire! =>

Does anyone drive a black Honda Accord I think it was a Honda Accord, saw somone walking through one of the towns on the lane?

Also, any last minute suggestions/tips re. 'structural appts' ours is this Friday! One of the best suggestions I've gotten so far is an additional hose bib on the second floor rear patio ... anything else?

Cheers,
Tony
