Since the wind storm on Sunday night/Monday, I can't help but notice the amount of garbage on people's lawns and on the street. It seems that suddenly people don't give a darmn about what their yards or the neighbourhood looks like!
I really notice how untidy the lawns of some of the village homes are. Most of them use their garage to enter the house and therefore don't use the front door, but if they only took a moment to look outside the window, they would easily see how awful things look.
Just a suggestion, but if everyone would take five minutes out of our busy lives to pick up the trash on their lawn and in front of their house.... think of the difference it would make!
And before anyone starts telling me to just pick up the unsightly trash - SAVE YOUR BREATH. I've done the area clean up more than enough this year and would just like others to take part in cleaning up the neighbourhood. Shouldn't be much to ask.
