Here is a pic of the Aspen A - it is from my iPhone camera, so shoddy quality.

Jellybean - I can't believe you got into that Aspen B! I would have loved to have done so.....two questions - do you think that the dining room will fit a table for 8 (the one in there is for 6)? Is the kitchen island unsecured (I want to move it so it is lengthy side facing the living room)?

Hi kosh - you're in an Aspen too, right? I'm pretty sure you'd be able to fit an 8-seater in the dining room. As far as I know, the island is unsecured and you should be able to turn it around. Have you had any of your appointments yet?

Hi Jellybean - yes we are Aspen A - we picked our brick 3 weeks ago, and have our structural appt on the 17th.

Have you had any of yours yet? What did you pick?

Hi kosh - we're actually done with all our appointments and are just waiting... What colour brick did you choose? What type of structural changes (if any) will you be doing? We went with 9 ft ceilings, hardwood stairs and a fireplace.

we are doing the same, but we did the upstairs layout with the walk-in closet moved to the bedroom, larger ensuite, but laundry kept upstairs. we'll probably upgrade the cabinets and counters too.

we picked CS-21 (dark grey brick/blackish-blue door/siding/roof) for our brick.

I am really excited, I love this model - in my opinion this was the best layout of the lot without feeling insanely extravagant in size...plus it was one of the only ones with a dining room you didn't have to walk through!

I love the separate dining room and the whole layout of the Aspen.

Great choice for your exterior colours! We're so excited and cannot wait! Well, good luck to you and have fun with all your colour choices/appointments. Talk soon!
