Hi kerbear18

Your house is looking great! Thanks for sharing. I like the dark tiles in the bathroom.

When do you close?

- Brandon

Hi Brandon!

Thanks so much! The tiles will look better once the bathroom counters go in.... :)

I close July 9th but I know they are WAYYYY ahead of schedule with my house right now. I'm hoping to see if I can bump up my closing date a week...fingers crossed! lol

Hey Kerry!

This looks great! Are you still moving July 9, or did you manage to get them to move it up a bit?

Mine will be ready in October... I can't wait!

D

Hey Care Bear, those pics look good and the choice of dark wood stairs are to my tastes too. Are all Currants 2-bedrooms do you know?

This is a good layout and now I know this is a Currant model. There was a model like this I saw on Fowles Ct., but with the stairs on the opposite side.

Hey Guys!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend! Diana, I DID manage to get them to move my closing date up a week...so now I close on July2nd! WOOHOOOO! October is coming fast for you too!

Alpha, YES all Currants are 2 bedrooms. The only option you have in changing the 3rd floor is to change the walk in closet to a bathroom so that you will have 2 bathrooms on that floor and a smaller Master Closet. I opted for the closet space forsure!

I'll post more pics as progress continues!

Hi again, thanks for the confirmation. I have the MLS listing sheet in front of me right now of the Currant on Fowles that I didn't act on fast enough, and I did recall it be quite unique to see 3 washrooms and 2 bedrooms. Unless I rent a room out to a tenant with irritable bowl syndrome (IBS), it doesn't make any sense for a 1195 sq-ft house to have so many washrooms. I'd definitely choose the closet space myself!

And remember when you do the PDI, be (reasonably) picky, and don't be docile; initiate conflict if needed (i.e. your stairs).

Hey Alpha,

Sorry to hear you missed out on the opportunity but i"m sure you'll see a few more pop up for sale eventually. :)

As for the PDI...no worries...I have absolutely no problem pointing out issues. I am a perfectionist but by no means do I expect my home to be PERFECT. I do however expect to get what I've paid for. :)

Good luck in the house hunting! (if you're still hunting...lol)

Hey Jessey,

If there's anything else you wanna see or have questions about just let me know. I remember what it was like when I first purchased...I had soo many questions about silly little things and would have loved to have been able to have a visual. I'd be happy to take more pics for you if need be. :)

Hey Jessey,

The cabinets are by Cortina and they are Ebony Stain on Maple and the model is called Sienna. :)
