We got a call today 'for our structural appointment'. We weren't home to speak to the woman who called but I assume this is for the choosing of our brick colour...am I right?

Also, I think I read on here somewhere (where I can't rememeber) that you can upgrade to 9 ft ceilings at some point after the initial option (2 week option upon purchase). Does anyone know if this is true?

Yeh it was for our structural...I didnt even realize we were going to have one of these. They have mailed us the package...here's to hoping we actually can get the 9ft ceilings. We regret not getting them before.

We pick ours this Saturday.

I just wanted to let everyone know that we have our design centre appointment next week.

We have been to the design centre twice now and I recommend everyone go there during their open houses before your appointments. The first time we went they gave us a tour and showed us all our standard options and all our upgraded options. It was good to be able to see everything we can do/have. We have since gone back again and really finalized what we want. It's been so helpful !!

Now when we go for our appointment we wont feel rushed into making a decision, we will already know the options and have considered them.

Has anyone else had their appointments or gone to the open houses?

We went tonight and they have started foundations at Leitch Landing. We were told that they would start pouring foundations on Inman Heights in October.

Hey all !!

We had our final design centre meeting today, where we got to pick all the colours and cabinets and such...the 'fun' stuff.

There are so many more upgrades to choose from than those included in the book they send you. Like for instance, you can upgrade the grout between your tiles on your floors. lol - I found that one too funny.

We had Agape Adams as our consultant and she was sooo nice and very honest and helpful. Can't wait for the house to be done !!! 7 months !!

Snowy, which upgrades did you get for the second appointment? We also had Agape for our first appt and she was great. We have Tiffany for our second one.

We went with standard cabinets but upgraded the counters to granite throughout. We got the executive layout as well. We also got the slide in range option.

We got hardwood floors in dining and upper hallway. We upgraded the carpet to berber in the family room and upgraded the underpad of standard carpet in bedrooms . We put the ceremic tiles on main floor onto a 45 degree angle too.

That's pretty much all the big stuff.

There are so many options though. It's easy to spend a lot of money there

are you guys phase 1 or 2 of vista?

If that question is directed at me...we are phase 1.
