Awwwww you ROCK! I was looking for the pix of that Vallemore, but couldn't find it... Noticed that Sandcliffe for sale last week just didn't have the time to look for it. Will take some more pix this week, stuff is flying along there at breakneck speeds. We're kind of guessing they're gonna try and finish everyone relatively early and just wait to finish the interiors based on date.. again it's just a guess but based on the how quickly stuff is happening I think it's a pretty good one... Think they wanna get the park finished when they promised they would and can't have that with half built homes on the edge of it... Will post some more this week....

No all the main street detached appear to be off of sale... You'll have to watch the Mattamy site for releases.

Tony, thanks for the links, good to see our type of houses are doing well.

I was at the site yesterday and couldn't really take pics as it was MUDDY as hell... it felt like I was driving through Sega Rally.

I'll see if I can take some pics on Wednesday if I have time, our framewalk is setup for first thing in the morning (looks like more rain)

So Ryan will be the guy there..... so Rob/April... other than bringing a camera and maybe a clipboard and flashlight will I need anything crazy (like that checklist from that thread I posted, or a ladder lol?)

I'm super anal when it comes to most things, and I'm worried I'll drive this guy nuts, or won't know what to specifically look for ...

Hi Tuli & Sean,

Nice to finally "meet" you guys! welcome to the forum, you'll find this place has a TON of information, and you'll meet most if not all of the people on our street here. We're only missing a few now!

We're scheduled to close on Oct 14. Now if we'll actually move IN that day is another question... are you scheduled for late Nov? if so it looks like everything is on time so I wouldn't worry too much...

Ed: I think that's up to you.. I didn't bring any of that stuff, but I'm there every night pretty well so I already knew what my issues were going to be.. It was a pretty smooth thing for me...

Tuli/Sean: Very nice to meet you, welcome to the forum :) We're in September 1st if all goes well...

we've been there pretty much every week and haven't really noticed anything MAJOR, but then again I wouldn't really have the trained eye to know exactly what to look for.

I think my only concern now is if they've put the washer / dryer location in the right spot. I can't remember for the life of me how it's setup, but since we have Mirror Image Floorplan there's a good chance they got it backwards. Other people on the board have had issues...

thanks for the pics Rob. I think the description you meant for Doug's place was "Doug your place still leading the race"... although we wouldn't mind Doug's place too lol. I think Ryan told me he closes in a week

when were those taken btw?

Today's framewalk was OK. We went through everything pretty quick, maybe an hour tops? the rain absoultely made it a MESS. We had to find planks and random wooden boards to walk TO the porch without sinking in a foot of mud... for the most part everything went well... luckily we caught a mistake made by the DC as Ryan thought we only had smooth ceilings on the 2nd floor, when we should have it on both 1st and 2nd.

Also we caught the mistake of where they put the dryer vent and in the wrong location so they'll fix that (otherwise our washer/dryer doors will open into each other).

For those that are doing potlights after closing, how detailed do the pictures need to be for the electrcian? from what Ryan told me he said I better get a GOOD electrician otherwise putting too many potlights off one box will mess the circuit up...

Woops... You're right... meant Doug...

They were taken last night actually... went tonight as well but not a whole lot had changed... probably cuz of the weather I'm assuming..

For the electrician, they really don't have to be that detailed, they can figure it our relatively easily with a stud finder, but pix do make the job a LOT easier for them... I snapped pix of all the ceilings beforehand just because of that...

ya, me too... just was a bit freaked out from Ryan and stuff.. especially if we want to do pot lights on the third floor... we would only consider the foyer though.. not the actually bedrooms...

he also told us that we were AHEAD of schedule, which made sense... forgot what the reason was though..

Third floor is way easy because they can go through the attic, and there's usually a ton of electrical to draw from up there.

I think everyone is (except us.. I think we're a little behind actually)... Some of those guys don't close until November and they're framed and getting ready for brick already.. Almost feel sorry for them cuz they may be getting locked out soon ;-)
