We just had Andy do a 1 year inspection, and I have to say ... it was worth every penny.

Thanks Andy, for taking the time to explain everything in detail (but not mind numbing technical detail) and explaining what we can expect from Mattamy when how to push back on certain glaring items.

If anyone hasn't thought of hiring Andy (or another independent inspector) for their 1 year, I HIGHLY recommend it.

Everyone should have a one year inspection completed, as Andy pointed out things we would never have known such as 4 inches of missing insulation in our attic, among other things!

Has anybody used Andy for a resale home?

Andy did our 30day inspection yesterday, we were impressed at the level of knowledge & professionalism displayed. We have a 2800SqFt home but Andy took his time to go over and explain every little corner, appliance & equipment most especially because we are not use to most of them being new in the country.

So far, our Mattamy experience has not been as bad as some have had based on comments on the forum, one may say maybe we were just “fortunate”, I can’t be sure there but it’s been ok to date...

I will suggest you use a “competent” inspector for your 30day & in my humble opinion I don’t think one is required for the PDI.

I have. A phenomenal, professional, patient, and good-hearted guy.
