hi guys,

so, we invaded some plan 7's today, and here is the outcome of our recon mission:

FYI: The pictures of the first floor are taken from a home with the garage on the right (as per the default layout), where as the second floor shots were taken from a home with the garage on the left. don't ask lol

hi sunny, welcome to the club :) sounds like our layounts will be very very similar.

just wondering, any other plan 7's choose the garden door in the great room instead of the sliding door in the den?

hi CambridgeDJM, you're right, most people have chosen the 4 bedroom. so far only you have chosen the 5 and chargar has chosen the 3.

next time we go and see a plan 7, if it happens to be a 5 bedroom model, we'll definitely let you know.

very nice! there are some plan 7's going up in the vista section if you want to go take a look, although, there isn't much to look at right now, just a bunch of interior 2x4's lol

we knew going in that we were buying the firebreak lot, we actually wanted a later closing date so that we would have more time to save and buying the fire break lot gave us that extra time. we were supposed to close june 2, but, received a letter last week advising that we've been delayed until aug 5.

2 months isn't too bad, plus, the august date will hopefully mean that we can wait until next year to get air conditioning. money's going to be kinda tight around closing time anyways lol

I also like the idea of some more savings before closing, but after July1st, there are still somethings which are a little confusing.
- I hope we that we wouldn't have to pay HST (I think we all booked
out LOTS before June 19th 2009).
- Some people are telling me that we would have to pay HST for all the
Upgrades done after June 19th.
- The lawyer fee and Closing cost will go up aswell.

Well, whatever happens, these dates are out of our hand. my closing is on May11th, I already see the ground floor structure is in place, so I don't know how many days it takes to complete a house.
