Sorry if this has been asked before, I don't get on the forum much. We're interested in buying a new home east of James Snow or anywhere really that isn't by the escarpment. We don't want to move further west. We're currently in Hawthorne Village but would love to buy a new lot in this side of town. Does anybody have any idea if any builders will be building on the east side of town? Thanks!

Well I hope you are prepared to wait. There is no plans for any residential development east of James Snow Parkway until after the year 2021 when the majority of Milton's approved urban area is developed (see attached map)

Under the Sustainable Halton plan which still requires Provincial approval and local official plan changes, the planners are projecting 63,000 new residents in the area east of James Snow Parkway and south of Britannia Road from the years 2021 to 2031 to meet the Provincial requirements under the Places to Grow Act. (see attached regional map)

I've seen some trucks and bulldozers east of James Snow on the south side. Anyone know what's be made there?
