Here's a challenge. Can each candidate or Milton Townhall gadfly please reply with their own top 10 list? (Related to Town Council & Committee meetings) Here's mine. Few of these will only sound funny if you attend Town Hall meetings.
Top 10 Ways you know your starting to become a regular at Milton Council and Committee meetings
1. You start to think that Mayor Krantz sounds a lot like Mayor Quimby from The Simpsons (in a nice way)
2. You understand when someone talks about Councillor Mann or Belvedere Realty
3. You look forward to the Mike Cluett Comedy Hour in the parking lot after council (his impromptu impersonations are bang on)
4. You start to think you'll support whichever councillor will promise more comfortable chairs for audience members
5. You then start to think that maybe the audience chairs are uncomfortable for a reason
6. Try to guess what the "barn burner" for the night will be and usually end up wrong
7. You wonder if your "blogger" status qualifies you to sit at the reserved media table
8. You recognize Mike Grimwood when he approaches the Podium and can't help thinking that sometimes he speaks more than a couple councillors do.
9. You start to think Councillor Penman makes the best Chair because his levity (light humour) helps defuse the gravitas
10. You wonder if Troy is somehow the secret power behind the throne (McHaug not Newton, although sometimes you wonder about Newton too)
