If you live in ward 7 (see below map) and support my campaign to represent you on Town Council then I would appreciate if you could send me a PM allowing me to place an election sign at your house. I'll come by personally to install it and will take good care of it - after election day I'll speedily have it removed.

Ward 7 is the area south of Derry, west of Thompson, east of the CN tracks and north of Britannia.

You can also see an image of what the sign looks like at the bottom of this post.

Thanks, please PM now, Operators are standing by ;-)

It won't fit well and still look good.

I love my last name but it's "too long" for "politics" Short last names are better for politicians it seems

Not that I like to be called a politician <shudder>

I think Colin may have sent you a PM.

I'm really thankful to those who have PMed me. Election signs do have an impact as it provides name recognition to people in the area.

If you live south of Derry, west of Thompson, east of the CN tracks please help my campaign by sending me a PM with permission for me to have an election sign on your lawn. Thank you for your support!!

I met Scotian Lotion today as I was door knocking.

He's getting a lawn sign :) Thanks Scotian!

If anyone else is south of Derry, east of CN Tracks and West of Thompson please PM me if I can pop by your house with a lawn sign. I'd like the privilege of representing you on town council.

I'm really having a lot more fun door knocking than I thought. Met a public school traffic guard (PL Robertson) on Yates today, long time Milton resident but just recently moved to Hawthorne Village. I may have not been canvassing "efficiently" as we talked for about 20 minutes on safety issues, existing town council, the HST, politics, hockey and schools. It was a fun conversation though.

Also spoke to a couple people on Cargill about overfulling garabge cans in Coates Neighbourhood park. Looks like community residents are emptying the garbage them selves due to infrequent town coverage. Plus the bike path on the wast side of Holly just "ends" with the curb on south side of Yates not being lowered so pedestrians or bikers can actually get back on the path. Need to find out what's up with that. I have a whole new list of research items.

I could post half a dozen stories a day each a couple pages long on door knocking experiences. It's addictive.

Anyways, if you live in Ward 7 please PM me about an election sign if I can have your support. Thanks!!

Rick Di Lorenzo
