I agree, looking at a property whis still being built and it is owned by mattamy that is fine, Once there are people living there leave them alone. i wonder how they would feel if the same happeend to them.

OK Paul, here is the plan. This weekend I will arrive at your house around 9 am. We both will wear overalls with no shirts under them and straw hats. You bring the banjo and I will bring my shotgun and a case of beer. We will sit on the front porch, crank up the Duran Duran and drink ourselves silly. No one would want to stop and bother you!!!

I would have contacted Mattamy and told them to stop referring your house. I remember they said to have a look at the certain houses when we asked about brick colour.
Or get Mattamy to pay you for each visit

Trini, it was actually Paul who gets the visitors but you do bring up a good point. he might be able to get a free fence or something out of X amount of tours he gives!!

If Mattamy is asking their clients to come and check yours house (even for brick) they are using your property for their business profit. At this case Mattamy must ask you first if you want to be their sales tool. They have their own model houses and they are paying property taxes for them. So, next time you will get visitors asking for tour, ask them if Mattamy was mentioned your house to find out if it is. If so, why not to check it with Mattamy and ask them if they are going to share their profit with you.
I’m not too sure if Mattamy are doing this. At the time we were making our decision for the home model, we were just driving around for few hours to find the same. We did stop in front of the properties and have a look from the car. My wife was trying to tell me, I have to go and ask people, not to let us in, but make few questions. I never did so.
But, many these days have no respect for another people Privacy by time they have to decide about their 300K money spending.
I don’t mind to answer for few questions, if it is in front my house in the middle of the sunny Sunday, but to let them in, how do I know if they are not the criminals?
