Hi,

I am sure you are aware of the roundabout at Dymott & Scott. The main objective of the roundabout is to keep the traffic flowing, which is good. However my concern is that on the west side of Scott there is a school I am sure that the respective staff must have considered this factor when approving. I am wondering how would the kids cross the road during school rush hours as we know that when there is a round about there are no STOP signs.

They wait? Or we let them go by?

I haven't seen any issues since school started when I leave for work.
It works in the EU and down under, why not here.
So happy stop signs are gone from there.

From what little I have seen, Canadian drivers need an education about how to properly use these (like yielding when necessary).

Threedays

The region is preparing a program to educate the residents in how to use them and to explain the "rules of the road" as part of the Main/Tremaine roundabout project. This was part of the Region's presentation at the Chamber of Commerce breakfast last week.

I believe there is a sign that says yield to pedestrians, but I may be wrong.
