I think the fan in the laundry is more for dryer exhaust so might not be a ceiling one per se.

Also Djub I believe they do have to give drains as I think its now code for a second floor laundry room. I'll confirm once I find out for certain.

I don't want to put a "downer" on your new homes but...
You may want to look more closely into Intracorp. They have recently completed properties in Toronto, Bowmanville and Brampton. The properties in Toronto were more than 3 years delayed. They even didn't start building until about 1 year after they were due to do.

Although their properties are generally well designed, the quality of the finished properties seems very questionable in many cases, mainly because they hire sub-contract trades to do the work and those trades' standards are not high.

Intracorp's after-sales service is questionable too. They pay lip-service to the Tarion process and drag things out for months. Promise things will be done but, on the Toronto site, some issues are still not fixed almost a year later.

There's also a rumor going about, not sure of how true, that Intracorp is closing their Eastern Canada operations. For sure the Eastern Canada website is starting to look a bit sparse.


Does that mean they are still better then Mattamy? lol

Exactly right - they've had one development behind schedule and that was an extenuating circumstance to do with the city which was out of Intracorps control. Also they've learned to be more proactive and are actually ahead of schedule if anything to allot time for unforeseen circumstance that could arise.

Anyway, Intracorp is also known for workmanship and quality so I wouldn't listen to that naysayer haha

As far as the offices closing in Eastern Canada... explain how that has any relevance to Ontario and their current developments... Think that says enough about his credibility to give criticism.
