Hi Laura, wow, sounds good! We're planning to go there this afternoon. What about your house? The last time we were there (last Sunday), I don't think your foundation had yet been poured. I'm sure it's been done by now? A lot of people have told me that the homes generally look really small as they're being put up and not to worry about having gotten the wrong house or a smaller home (LOL)!! :o

My foundation has been pour and the floor of the main floor is done. I assume they will be framing this week.

It does look small. It will until the drywall does in. Not to worry it will work out. The driveway on the other hand, that looks small. I thought that without a sidewalk, I would be able to fit 4 cars in but I dont know.

We drove by the site yesterday....lots of progress! The original grading of our house called for a sunken landing from our garage entry. We were a little disappointed to see that this won't be the case. Oh well, not a big deal. Geez, really crazy at how they work through this cold weather!

HI Springberry,

We are lot 61 and we have an 18 mth old. Her name is Alessandra. How old are your kids? I believe from previous conversations there are many children on the street and on Perigrine way.

Hi Monica and Rishi,

The street is coming together pretty fast. I'm sure your house will be up in no time, so no worries. Is your tentative closing date sometime in mid-May? We drove by yesterday and it's pretty exciting to see the progress. It's our first house, so we're going crazy with the photos of "our baby" :D

Cheers,

Nik

Hi Nik, yes, our closing is mid-may so they have a few more weeks to tell us if our house is delayed. It's our first house too! We're really excited. We're also looking forward to seeing how our colour picks for the tiles/cabinets/counters look in the house. Hopefully they come out well.

No kids in our house. My wife and I just got married last summer, so not yet ready to make the transition from beer bottles to baby bottles

Btw, I asked Lori about timing of our framewalk. She said we'll be getting a call for this in the next 2-3 weeks and our house is right on schedule for a mid-May closing. Looking good.

Cheers,

Nikhil

Hi Laura,

When we were there last Sunday, the second floor of your house had been put up. I'm guessing that over the last few days your roof has come up as well. We'll be going back again this coming weekend to check things out.

Have a good Family Day long weekend, everyone!

Nik

I was there today as well. I saw people in cars driving by but did not know who was who. I was in the White Honda CRV.

Nik - your house is looking good. You have windows and doors. I hope you have a covered and shingled roof this week.

Laura

Hi Laura,

Yeah, we were happy to see the progress when we drove by this past weekend. We now have proper built-in staircases and when I drove back again this morning, they were pouring the foundation for our basement floor. Looks like bricks are already coming up on the north side of the street. It's all looking good!

Hi Suzanne,

We're scheduled to close on May 12 and as of now we haven't gotten any notification of a change to this date. I was speaking with our senior builder, Andrew, the other day, and he said that they're on track.

Springberry....just curious what brick you chose? I was driving onto the street yesterday and saw your house which is fully bricked now....it looks amazing!
