If you are interested in checking out Milton's restaurants, you can do it in one night on Thursday March 24th from 6 to 8 pm at Milton District High School at 396 Williams Avenue. (check attached link)

https://www.google.com/calendar/event?e ... ssionid=OK

For only $ 25 per person you can taste the foods of 25 Milton restaurants and help with high school projects and local charities.

Based on last years event you won't be disappointed with the food and entertainment.

Call soon, as the tickets are selling fast and bring a non-perishable food item on the night to help a local charity.

Hi Edwin

I don't have the list but the majority of Milton's restaurants will be there showing off their specialities from many cuisines.

Thanks everyone who attended the Taste of Milton event at Milton District High school tonight. It was a sold out event with everyone enjoying great food and entertainment from the students of the school. Looking forward to next years event and the return of the 25 resturants who were represented tonight.

That was great!! The food really was fabulous. I'm going to have to check out several of these restaurants now - especially Pho Milton. Plus I had a wonderful time hanging out with Zeeshan and Rick and his wife and their combined brood of children.

We had a great time! Sat with Jennifer, Zeeshan and his kids. Ryan really had a blast running around and he recognizes more people this time. Zeeshan got to hand it to you, your kids are fairly well behaved. Don't know how you do it with three! Ryan surprised us and ended up eating mostly the 'healthy' food at Pita Nutso (he was big on their greek salad). At the end though he kept on either walking to Troy's for some candy or Flour Girls (cupcakes) or Marble Slab (ice cream). I ended up mostly going to Bumpers for the clams/mussels or Shoeless Joe's for the chicken wings.

Thanks to MDHS for putting this on! It's so great to have such a big selection of food from so many Milton restaurants. Each year we get to try more food. It's really a great deal.

Btw when I told Ryan that Zeeshan and Jennifer will be there he then said "and Mike?" I'm surprised he makes that connection in his head.

I love the idea of the event, and was planning to attend, but life got in the way.

The only thing that will reduce my chances of attending is the lack of a 'children's cost. I'm down with $25/head for my wife and I, but with 2 kids, $100 is starting to push it. That all being said, it was sold out, so obviously its OK without my money :)

Good to hear!

That's adorable! Does that mean he thinks I'm on Council with you? (shh... don't tell him)
