Hi Mels, I don't remember what they were called, but they are a really dark brown and they have strips in them that are shiny and dull and it gives them a tiger like look.. our shower tiles are the white version of them .. I'm glad you like them.. can't wait to see the bathroom all done... we are kicking ourselves for not getting the glass enclosed shower though :?

I'm not sure.. but I think so.. I think they make it all taller when you get the 9 foot ceilings. Did you go in and check it out? I'm soo excited.. I really love it :)

rrknight, we are also on monaghan and have 8' tall doors, every door on the main floor except the door leading to the garage..

Great thanks. I went and checked my friend's house on monaghan lot 198 and all his doors were 8' too. That's awesome because it makes the ceiling look a lot taller.

great looking house - question for you, it seems from the schematic that the stair going from main to upper level there are walls on both sides - are they putting pickets besides or just hand rails? I see you upgraded to square posts.

Hey there, just hand rails. We got the square pickets in our current place and love them, so we had to get them again.
