These kind of sunsets are very often here, but their most interest part lasts only ten-fifteen minutes. This is why we don't see them so often as they appears to happen here.

We just bought a Nikon D5100 for our future trip to Iceland. I have surfed the web and found a good digitutor for the basics, just wondering what is the best way to progress. Essentially understand how to use the camera scenes, effects, etc. Need to learn about the M, A, S, P settings. Any suggestions?
There was a seminar but we are not going to pay $299 each to learn from a professional.

Congratulations!
It is easy, go to main Milton library on Main, they have section of books for photography.
This is how I started. I read dozen of them to get the picture :D
Reading Tom Ang book "DSLR Master Class" right now from same library.
