Ruben, I am totally with you, and yes it is hard to say from a smaller sample and there are variations. Anyways, for better or worse, I am holding you to a beer. Btw, was on your porch the other day, am booking a spot there in advance to chill and spend some nice summer days sipping beer with you. Your view of the Escarpment and the park is breathtaking.

Ruben, BBQ and beer?! We're in. 8)

i have my PDI Wednesday, looking forward to, my experience thus far with Kori, spoke to her couple time + email, has been very pleasent.

by the way if you guys run into any issues and need to escalated, go to Wendy or Mary they are also very helpful. I had some issues with my contract which was going to end up costing me a pretty penny just because of "wording" but they took care of it.

Wow! That was fast. I am interested to see what the cover over the front porch will look like when it is finished....the brick work looks good so far.

Me too. But do you have any idea why we have 2 posts on the porch instead of the four?

Not a clue maybe you can ask them at your inspection

Yep, I did. Kori said the 2 posts we see are structural; the other 2 are decorative and can therefore be constructed later.

My pre-drywall inspection went well. I still have a kitchen issue that I'm hoping Mary will fix ASAP....but whatever

What is the issue with the kitchen? We have the same model and have made lots of changes maybe we dealt with same thing already

Interesting how it seems everybody had to make a change of some sort in their kitchen.

I stand corrected.

I was begining to think it was done on purpose as a cash crab....kind of like their "comfort height" charge for the bathroom vanities.

Yeah, total cash grab. But I must give them credit with the electrical work. Some forward thinking was involved there. For ex/ all the basement lights will be on switches, not pull chains.

This is interesting too! We were told to expect pull chains...which I was surprised to hear.

Kori told us that, also...but the electrician was still in our house and overheard her. So he corrected her, saying that it was part of the electrical contract.

Curious as well as to what changes were needed. We have our walk through in 2weeks. Would be nice to have some things to watch out for...
