Is this your original projected close date? Did they confirm your close date 90 days out?
Thx! hope the move goes well and your happy with your home.

January 25 is the original projected close date. I didn't receive a notice of delay, and Intracorp's deadline to notify me was October 27, so it looks like it's a 'go'.

Thanks - hoping the move goes well, also. My house was open so I took a look around - a few things need to be changed, and they missed 3 of my upgrades (2 I think are fairly significant), but other than that, I am very impressed with the workmanship. Hope PDI will go smooth - I don't seem to connect very well with the consultant. :? ...my hubby will have to do all the talking :)

rally? what did they miss?

Yep. Me and Lot 3 are the only ones here so far.

Busy, Busy, Busy! With all the time it takes to make the necessary arrangements and unpacking... multiply that time by about three with two little ones exploring every nook and crany before child proofing!

A few issues need to be dealt with but those items are sub-trade things. Happy with everything else so far.

So our good friend Doil did share a interesting little nugget of information - atleast for me - and perhaps the folks who have houses on Savoline's east side...lots 1 - 13 or so..

THe lots immediatley behind us look like they are not going to have houses on them. the way the property demarcation line is the plots imemdiatly behind us got disected diagonally leaving really nothing to build on..so the section of lots whose backyards would join our backyards, will have nothing built on them...not bad if this the way it stays and nothing changes! email me or doil if you want a cc of the drawing -

Yep, I was saying that a few months ago on the blog....but I didn't hear much from anyone. Apparently, Arista will be releasing homes January 14, so it will be interesting to see where exactly they are...I've also read in a Town of Milton report that the land immediately behind us is a residential reserve that can have up to 12 detached homes...so the verdict is still out, i'm afraid.

I noticed the same diagonal demarcation line but that of course doesn't mean there won't be houses there. It just means that Intracorp can sell that portion of the land to the builder who will be building houses behind "Lots 1-13 or so..."

Besides, I can tell looking out the back of my house on the second floor that the lots are dug out including the future street so I think it's virtually guaranteed there will be houses behind us.

Hi all, I was on the Intracorp website and saw this link to a Homeowner Information Package website. Those of you who are about to move in, does this site apply to Foothills?

Thanks for this info. Promo is slightly different now but not enough to make a fuss about.

call 1 - 866 216 0045 (may have to dial a couple times) - intracorp has a promo with Cogeco.
Free Phone and Internet for 3 months Free HD/Cable / PVR for 2 months
- no contract / no comittments.

I was already with cogeco, and had a better internet pack then the one offered for free. The one they are giving is 48/mnth, mine is 58/mnth, so they basically gave me 3 months credit against the 58 so i pay 10 for the 3 months period

The phone include free US/Canada calling

best part - i was actually locked on a 12 month with cogeco, but when you go via the new home promo, you are off the contract -as you start net new... so 3 months in if i wish i can go to bell or whatever with no penalty... also they will activate up to 6 phone jacks and 4 cable outlets as part of the free isntallation.....see if it works for you folks..

..g luck
/HI

It would be interesting to know what model it is, I'm sure there is someone on here that bought the same model on another lot that can shed some light on which one it is. If only intracorp kept their site up with all the pictures and floor plans.

I am pretty sure that it is a Hadfield. My wife and I were looking at this model before we purchased our home. I think that it was in the 520K range, but not sure that was a long time ago. The true test will be whether or not it sells. Anyone can list a house for any price if they can find a realtor crazy enough to do it for them. The value will be established by what it sells for. Very interesting though!

Keys are released when they confirmation from their lawyer's office that closing is done.
Its all depend when they receive the funds.

I have chased a cheques on closing day which went to a lawyer office and the office was closed for lunch and delivery person did not deliver the cheque.

Some time bank released the funds late for some reason to your lawyer too.

Enjoy your new home.

For those closing soon or already and haven't decided on a central vac system I encourage you to check out this current group buy that is expiring soon.

What's the thing with voiding a warranty if we don't go with Dearie Contracting? Does anyone remember specifics, as this is a decent group buy!
