Hey!! Sorry, been busy for the last week! We close on August 2 2007. Was out to the lot yesterday, and they are starting to lay down all the underground pipes for the whole phase. I've also heard they may have foundations by december......doubt it, but who knows.
PS went to the restaurant Portabellos across from the mattamy sales office. THeir deepdish bbq chicken pizza was frickin amazing. We told them we were moving into the area and gave us a free desert, which by the way was better than the pizza.

Hey Kelly and Allison...awhile back you said something about a rear fence....how is it that you'll have a rear fence already in place when you move in? Is this for all the townhomes? :D It would be nice if we only have to pay for two sides. Sounds too good to be true. 8) Thanks. Marcy
Hi Marcy, the rear fences is just for some of the townhomes that back into 36' or other detached homes. Look at your Schedule V. It's a map that shows which homes have rear fences on it. On Johnson Heights, blocks 242, 241, 240, and part of 239 (1 and 2) would have rear fences. Sorry, from the map it doesn't look like block 238 comes with a rear fence :(

Hello....how is everyone doing? A new month brings us that much closer to our new home. We received a letter from Mattamy last week letting us know that our design centre contact is Paola (not sure about spelling). Has anyone else used her, or is she your rep at the design centre? I'm going to send her an email to see if she has any idea when our price lists will be completed. Went out to the site last week, and they have a security guard blocking off the road so you can't go back in to Johnson Heights. Not that there is anything to see yet, but they have started laying out roads and putting in the underground pipes. Anyways...I gotta run....ttyl

Hi neighbours

I bought an Amesbury (Elevation A) lot 252-4 - silly question but does anyone know what my street name is!? lol my plans still say street D and i havent been by Mattamy in ages! I'm closing Sept/07 and i have 2 puppies. I did go to the design centre and they claimed they didnt have the price list for upgrades - obviously based on other ppl getting one that is not the case! what are some reasons you all used to get them to give one up!
Thanks in Advance!!

Thanks very much Marcy. That helps me eliminate some possible upgrades I have been thinking of which is a good thing because I am getting carried away.

Hello all!!
I talked to Paola yesterday, and she let me know that my official street address is going to be 789 Johnson Heights!!!
There are no postal codes yet, as they are assigned by Canada Post.
Just thought Iwould let everyone know if they talk to their contact at Mattamy, they can get their door address.

Hello all, we were called as well for our design orientation, and then our first design appointment. We have our orientation on Nov 14th at 3:00pm with I believe her name was Tiffany. We then have our first appointment a week or two later. My fiance and I drove out on Sunday to the site, and the have finally put in our road. Took some good muddy roads to get out to our road, but we made it happen. I am going to post a few pics of the site once I get them on my computer. Maybe we will get a chance meet some neighbours at the design centre on the 14th.

FYI - Your first appoinment is usually to go through your "wish list" of up grades. You then get to go home and discuss them (and add them up) and on your second appointment you finalize these with your colours and styles etc.

Just going through my notes, our meeting for orientation at the design centre is on the 14th at 6:00pm with Tiffany, not 3:00pm

Has anyone else had tiffany, is she good?

Tiffany was our consultant. We met with her on October 14. She is quite nice however I did feel she tried to sell certain upgrades. I guess that is her job however. We sat with her and picked all our options and upgrades it took about an hour and a half. We went in with one idea which was the Savanah and left picking the Stradford. She is quite helpful and knows when to give you space to decide. Good luck.

Hi Lyndi, welcome to the boards. My Fianec and I bought lot 240-2 so you are our neighbour on the other end of the building. I'm curious, have you been called for any of your appointments at the design centre?
We have one tomorrow at 6:00pm.
Well, I gotta run, but it's great to meet an actual neighbour!
