Wow, 10 months later the day has come.

On October 1st of last year a weightloss journey was planned

My accountability was towards my clinic Milton Orthotic & Wellness Centre, BLOG followers and THE DECK YOUTH CENTRE where people have sponsored me for every pound lost.

I started at 278 Pounds last October and as of today, August 1st, weigh in at 213 Pounds, that a difference of 65 POUNDS. Yes, my journey ends but my life begins. It’s A NEW BEGINNIG! I HAVE MY LIFE BACK. My Weightloss Journey is a Lifestyle Change. This i what makes this extra special. I can move forward and expect not to gain weight.

As I reflect back to how I did it here it is:

Congratulations on your acheivement! Believe me your journey is never over though. I lost 50 pounds and kept it off for 3 years now and it is never ever over. Without a plan to maintain your new body the pounds creep back. Losing the initial weight is difficult but maintaining your new weight can be equally as difficult if not more difficult. All the best!

Yes, you are completly right. Keeping it off is part 2 of the journey. I had a deadline due to sponsorship which they donated on every pound lost. This is for the kids in support of The Deck Youth Centre n Milton.

So how often were you working out? What were the workouts like? What were you eating - not much on your blog about that.

Great question!

The reason is because the workouts were a small part of my weightloss. Workouts were 1-2 times per week at 1/2 hour on the eliptical. The weightloss was about 90% FOOD!

Good for you Angelo, you deserve to feel proud of yourself! Just remember it's after the weight loss that you need to be extra vigilant, I know from past experience.
