Thats a total bummer .. I know those metal people need to make a living but it seems like they take stuff often that wasn't meant to be trash!
(Zeeshan's old bike is unfortunately too small). Hopefully looking for bigger than a 12.5" wheel
(unrelated vent): I put two perfectly nice bicycles out last garbage day, not to throw them away but to put a "free bike" sign. But before I could put the sign on, those metal strap people took both perfectly nice bikes away
. I hope they gave it to someone instead of selling them for scrap metal. Oh well, lesson learned. Won't do that again.
My five year old son does have a bike that I want to give away (I do have training wheels for it). I have a bigger bike for him and he wont use the bigger one as long as he has the smaller one. But I won't be able to find training wheels until Thursday. PM me your address and I'll drop it off on Thursday.
