SO far, 2 egg and cheese on toast sandwiches for breakfast, an all-bran bar while out doing my 3.5k hike, bottle of gatorade (g2, 20cal stuff) 2x glass of water and a tims coffee. Taking it easy because at some point going to get some wings with friends tonight! Though likely 10-12 instead of the usual 18-20.

Good for you doing the hike!

Good job Strik3rr!! Sounds like you have had a good day thus far :)

Oddly enough..no one suggested that YOU only eat egg whites and no cheese? The proof is in the pudding! Good luck with the wings...temptations are hard but I'm sure you'll do great :)

So the other day I made Shepherd's pie...I used lean ground turkey, onion, carrots, garlic, ketchup and some seasoning. I didn't have time to make potatoes, so I just made the meat mixture. I had hoped that I would get a chance yesterday to make the potatoes, but I didn't sadly. So today, I went to Longo's. I got some of their in-store made potatoes..so gross. I'm sure they are going to kill my stomach too because they likely have milk in them. I was hoping to have the SP to eat for dinners this week, but there goes that idea. I'm putting it in the freezer till the weekend when I have time to make the potatoes myself :)

Lesson learned!! :) Unfortunately, I have been a busy gal this week...therefore it's been tough to get a lot of cooking in. Tomorrow I'm going out for lunch for a friend's birthday..then coming here for cake. The cake is deadly...DEADLY...I bought it today :) I'll have a small sliver....and I'm going to order a salad tomorrow wherever we end up going. Might even take my own dressing if I get myself organized!! I'll be home after that so if my IBS kicks in, I'm at home :) TMI? Maybe....sorry

Soupy the Shepherd's pie sounds tasty! I'm too lazy to make home made but there's a frozen brand (?) that I just love the taste of. It might be President's Choice Fireside or such, very tasty. Enjoy your friend's birthday lunch!

So I went out for lunch today.....and had a taco salad...OMG it was so good. Lots of lettuce in it....and some carrots! I took out the tomatoes because I am not a tomato fan. It was super yummy...I am going to try to make one like that at home! It bothered my stomach a bit when I came home, but not too bad!

@soupy sounds like you need an ass kicking for having that cake. Shepherd's pie is my all time favorite dish. I'll make a meatless version of it one of these days.

I kept it real simple today. Fasted till 2:00pm then broke the fast with a heaping serving of oatmeal 'n fruit followed by a fruit smoothie and half dozen dates.
stopped eating at around 6:30pm and will be fasting until 2:00pm tomorrow again.

Are you in cahoots or what? It's a birthday....I have to add to the celebrations. As I mentioned before, I'm making BETTER choices...not all perfect ones!

I probably wouldn't be able to eat a meatless version...too many veggies for my IBS. The lean ground beef or turkey is perfect for it.

Why are you fasting? I thought it wasn't good to do that for your metabolism?

all-bran bar for breakfast, spicy bbq chicken slice from pizza pizza for lunch, piece of lasagna with 2 slices of buttered bread, small pack of the original beef jerkey (35g) lots of water/coffee and 2 bottles of crush pop. likely another bowl of cereal and maybe an apple or banana to come for snacks before bed.

Took everything I had not to get takeout again tonight after the pizza earlier.

Not a great day. I am on vacation, not an excuse but it certainly changes up my eating times and I find I just don't eat enough. today I had a 2 coffee, some rice chips, a steak and salad and probably maybe only 20 oz water with lemon. Wow, that really isn't much. Tomorrow we are on a road trip, so we will see what that holds. I have packed a bunch of gatorade (G2) to drink, I will eat the rest of my pineapple, strawberries and bananas before I go. If I am up early I will have some oatmeal as well. I think I am pretty good at making choices when I am out so we will see how that goes :)
