If you are looking for something to do this Saturday Sept. 15th plan on attending the annual Crossfit Firefighter Challenge at the Milton Fairgrounds from 9 am to 4 pm.

Milton Councillors are again fielding a team consisting of Councillors di Lorenzo, Hamid, Cluett, Lambert and myself, assisted by Councillors Barkley and Lunau and possibly a ringer.

Some of the team has been practising thanks to Jennifer and Dan at Crossfit, and are hoping to improve on last years performance.

Should be a great day!

Have a fun time for a great cause Colin and company! I'm already committed to volunteering with TriKids over at EC Drury so can't make it out to cheer you on this year.

My daughter's soccer team is participating in the kids team challenge in the AM and we are all looking forward to it. Good luck to all :lol:

Ps. It is shaping up to be a busy weekend, Tri-kids, FireFighter Challenge, and Milton Marathon!

Those are great pictures of the rock climb which proved to be my downfall...couldnt make it to the top....just past 1/2 mark until I had to call it quits. We feel really proud of how we did today in the main challenge. They had a 12 minute limit on it and we made it in 12 mins 30 seconds

Great photos as always, you are an excellent photograper and it's not even your real job.

I like the second photo of me and Zeeshan shaking hands. He climbed much higher than me on the rockwall challenge.

Thank you to the organizers of today's event where the proceeds go to fallen fire fighters. Also thank you to the Councillors team who came out to show our support of the event and it's goal; Councillors Best Cluett DiLorenzo Hamid Barkey Lunau and myself as well as Mayor Krantz who came. I am looking forward to next year's event.
