We are on Gifford Cres as well. Lot 237-3. It's a town closing June 28/07. Looking forward to it . Hopefully it is a quiet neighbourhood with lots of kids. We have 2 a girl and boy.

Just wondering if anyone else is on Gifford Cres. We now have our address but we are wondering if anyone knows the postal code yet. I tried Canada Post site but had no success. Looking forward to meeting future neighbours.

Wow ... sounds like Gifford Cres will be the young cool street in Hawthorne Village. We too will be getting married just before we move in. Married July 21st and hopefully be moved in August 22nd as predicted.

We're lot 234-3

I know there is a thread somewhere that has the information to get our address but I can't find it, please post a link if you know where it is.

Thanks

Ron and Jen

Has there been any building action on Gifford Cres. We haven't been up to the site for about a month. Last we saw there were catch basins in place and sticks in the mud. If anyone has been and has pictures of progress please post we would love to see them. Thanks all....

We were there to see the lot yesterday and they're definitely making progress...Gifford has been paved and they've got the foundations in for the transformer boxes...They've also got all of the electrical run now for the lots and street lights so I suspect they'll be going up soon (the streets closer to Thomson already have light posts up)...They've also replaced all of the stakes with new ones showing the lot numbers so it's easier to tell which piece of dirt is which now...

Ron/Jen: I just saw your question and I can confirm that the lots behind Gifford are Sundial Towns (one of my co-workers purchased a Sundial just off Kennedy Circle)...

Has anyone been able to find out postal codes for Gifford Cres? I went to the Canada post site but nothing comes up. Also has anyone taken pictures of Gifford I haven't been able to get up there lately and I am curious to see if progress made.

thanks mt_42

we had our design appointment and on the sheet for our property layout is shows a very large block behind us and several smaller blocks to the westside of us ... basically townhome lots. The larger blocks were behind and to the east and appeared to possibly be detached lots but I guess time will tell

Ian and Franca I was there last week and the street is paved and there is a lot of activity all around gifford but nothing significant on gifford unfortunately.

Has anyone else had there design appointment? What package/options did you choose?

Hi Everyone!

Actually I'm all done my design appointments and I don't close until July!

I had my appointment over 2 months ago- I selected the Stratford ( I think! It was so long ago now!)

Selected the hardwood, upgraded the package, garage entrance, ensuite upgrade, can't think of the others, they do add up very quickly.

I went past Gifford the other day too...and thank goodness I'm still alive! All the action going on around our street is great! I can't wait to see it all finished!

I’m lot 230-5 the one on the corner of Gifford and Philbrook.

Yeah, that pretty much matches what I see on the lot plan I got from the town. Basically, SunDial has towns along Glesson behind blocks 236-1, 235, 234 and 233-5. Behind the rest of 233, there are two detached houses going in facing Philbrook (I think they had already framed these the last time I was at the site).

Anybody have pictures of the site. Most interested of course in Gifford Cres. Went up this weekend but it was blocked and they had security there also. Saw the light fixtures and lots of foundations poured but could not see Gifford from where we were.

To the best of my knowledge no foundations have been poured on Gifford.

There's lots of wood on the street waiting to be used.

When do you close? Best thing to do is go along Kennedy Circle towards the detached homes that people are currently living in, you can see the street from there or trek through the mud.

If anyone is interested Gifford Cres has a postal code. I contacted Canada post because I could not find it on the site and customer service got back to me with the postal code. If anyone is interested it is L9T 0L1.
