How High is your antenna mounted? To get WUTV you will need it pretty high due to the curve of the earth and the distance.

WUTV transmits in a figure 8 pattern, and Milton is in the indent of that shape. I got myself a really good OTA Antenna and mounted on the top of the three story home, and still only get 40% signal power on a good day. Good enough to watch mind you. As said before... you need real height to get Fox in Milton.

Thanks for the reply what antenna would you recommend to pull in the US stations and Canadian stations should I be using an 8 bay or a combination 4 bay and a yagi. I'm up to 15 stations now but can tell when I do a Chanel scan there are at least 5 or six more that just won't lock in.

I have a 4 bay in my attic with a pre amp and am fine. What you need to do is aim the antenna based on the best possible signal to WUTV. It does cut in and out for me once and again but if all you want is that channel, you should get a 8 bay since it has greater distance range but less spectrum.

What do you mean when you say less spectrom. Wouldn't an 8 bay catch the rest of the US stations channels 2. 4. 7. 29. And so on. What per amp do you are recommend.
Thanks
Frank

And if you head over to Save and Replay in Mississauga they have a lot of info to help you mount and direction to point.

Thanks will give them a try. I have found with most antenna dealers they don't seem to be interested in helping they seem to just want to make a sale and get rid of you. Most of these places sell more than antennas and seem to have the antennas in the store as sort of a side line. I seem to learn more from looking on line.

That is the one I have. It looks way better than most and I bring in 30+ stations. Had John from Mohawk TV install it on the top of my roof. See this thread.http://www.hawthornevillager.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=52640&hilit=OTA

My brand is a knock off. I bought it for $25 during the Beijing olympics from the Dixie and Matheson area. I think it is an EAglestar 4 bay. I have a channel Master 7778 I think. It has been quite a while since I have had to touch anything let alone go in my attic.
