That's true Cactus. Zeeshan was talking to Jennifer Trimble about that at the PIC and I got to listen in because I was at the next panel waiting to ask about the drainage. Jennifer Trimble was saying there is more area for landscaping than they normally get plus they recongize it's an urban intersection surrounded by homes with lots of people walking/biking/driving by that the asthetic appeal needs to be considered in the design so there's a good chunk of change set aside specifically for landscaping (Can't remember the numbers off the top of my head). Zeeshan was also asking about boulevard landscaping. Jennifer was saying trees aren't feasible because of the narrow median and the drainage pit it wouldn't be a great environment for trees to develop a root system.
