Well Teddy, the idea is that although your ad is very important to you, everyone else's ads are important to them. If they all put their ads in the general section as well, then it would defeat the purpose of having a general section and an advertisement section. And it would make your ad one of many, rather than letting it stick out in the general section. You don't really think your ad is any more or less important than everyone else's, do you?

But, I guess if the moderators all seem to want to give you a pass, that's their business. But its still wrong, IMO.

to begin with, teddy responded to justagirl's post saying his thread isn't disturbing anyone (even though it is clearly disturbing at least her, and you can count me, as well). so, my post is an explanation of why he is in fact disturbing someone, and probably more than just me and justagirl.

also, if every person who posts an ad in the proper (ad) section decides to follow teddy's example, then it would really screw things up. and that would undoubtedly disturb a bunch of people, including you. so now it has been explained to him.

and i'm not saying anything that isn't nice to teddy, i'm just explaining how the system works, and how it doesn't work.

and i'm glad you read and remembered my line from another thread. i'm worried though that if you followed it, you would have far fewer and far less interesting posts in the future, and the forum would be less interesting generally.

woah woah woah. Alright, first of all calm down. Second of all , you dont need to tell me what to do and what not to do , thats why theres admins and moderators on this forum. If you have a problem or a problem with my postings you should go to report me , this would be better so therefore neither would you have to deal with me and nor would you have to make such a fuss about it. Also, me responding to justagirls thread saying my thread isnt disturbing anyone , I'm saying what's right and I'm justifying my point. You gotta chill out.

I've reported it...nothing happened. It's not disturbing...it's annoying. Not sure why tho...scrolling text shouldn't annoy anyone really.

teddy, you need to re-read what i wrote if you think i need to "calm down" or "chill out" or that i'm telling you what to do. i'm explaining how something works, and I'm right. you can take it or leave it, it doesn't matter to me. like i said - if the moderators want to let you do it, so be it. you can also choose not to answer the question i asked you regarding other people's ads, but that looks kind of poor, since it's a fair question and you're posting on this forum.

so at the end of the day, if you really think my post is as over the top as you are making it sound, then i'm afraid you need to develop a thicker skin, my friend.

Okay. I do take consideration of other peoples ad. I see what you are saying now. I'm kind of new to this forum, so I guess it is my fault. I wasn't explained the rules and regulations of the Milton Forums nor did I have time to read the rules and regulations. I will take into consideration that I will stop bumping my ad every single day. Not only does this frustrate you guys but it puts other people ads/posts/ in jeopardy and it doesn't give them a chance. So, my apologies to the Milton Forums and being so ignorant about other peoples ad/posts.

NewInTown - The only people I'm aggravating is you guys no one else. I'm trying to settle this situation and not cause only problems but I guess people in this forum just want to bring up useless and pointless stuff.
