Does anyone know why the house on the corner of Hinchey Cres and Savoline is so special? Just across from the Park. It wasn't a historic house because I noticed it was built from scratch? Just wondering if any knew why this house was made so different?

You did half the work, giving me the streets that the house faces. The rest is just google.

Coles notes for the tl;dr crowd:
- Fieldgate waxed the original house in 2005 which was deemed historic
- People complained
- Council put in the contract when Fieldgate wanted to develop they had to build a replica
- Fieldgate built

job done

Interesting. Is someone living in it?
I assume it would have to meet modern code requirements for smoke detectors, GFI's, etc.

Yea been wondering about this one too, I drive by every day. Wonder what it will sell for and if it's already been spoken for (probably).

I wake up to that house everyday.... I watched it come up, very cool. The security guard informed me that it was going to be a Princess Margaret Item.
