Its never happened. The lot never goes from half full to full in an hour. Anyways, I don't go during peak hours. Just when those loser price matchers seem to be there.

I do. It does nothing to protect the front or rear of your car. You should take 4 spots.

When I become Mayor, I’m going to pass a bylaw requiring all parking lots be painted like this.

Edit: The image changed to a fat woman playing a piano. Never post linked images folks lol

You're a cow.

Anyways, back to original post... This happened to me a week after I picked up my new truck. Someone sideswiped me I guess while trying to park beside me. $2100 in damage. Lance at Miltown is the go-to guy... Super nice guy, he's up-front an honest and trust me, you'll never know there was any body work done!

I leave special surprises for winners like you that think they're so smart doing stuff like this. Hopefully the next one I leave is on yours.

Maybe you and your price matching friends have cars with doors that open out from your hood and your trunk. I should watch out for you. Thanks for the advice.

You never had someone bump your car pulling into the spot in front of you?

Oooooh yes they will. I fell for that before... I reported my car being rear ended (only because the person started harassing me that night saying they'll just say they were hurt and sue me), I even asked them if they'd tell my insurance because I could just get it fixed for less than what it would cost in insurance increases. They said "no, we're the police, we don't deal with insurance". Well somehow my insurance was calling me at 7am the next day.
I later went on to find out collision reporting centres are owned by insurance companies and employ police officers and only appear to be a division/operation run by police.

No kidding? This seems to be true. http://www.torontopolice.on.ca/traffic/collision.php

Thanks, that's valuable knowledge.

My wife took my son to soccer. A lady came up to my wife when wife returned to her car to get her coffee. The lady told her how another lady had hit the side of our car and then moved her mini-van to another side of the parking lot - no note - nothing. Wife called me, and I instructed to watch the mini-van and call for a uniformed officer to attend the scene. Wife called police but then ignored my advice not to confront her (sometimes wives don't listen to good advice from good husbands). Mini-van lady denies hitting our car - until - two uniformed police cars pull in and ask her about what happened. Wife yells at her, saying she is a liar and there are witnesses (not sure why wife called me to begin with). Mini-van lady admits hitting out car...no charges.

Insurance claim is a non-moving violation - not in the car - other person responsible. They painted almost half the car, and we used the 10 day rental car to go on vacation...

...report to police...go into the station and report it. Take pictures of the damage, and post the time, date and place it happened in the event someone may have seen something.

...

Marathonman I'm surprised the lady was not charged with anything.
This is just showing that you might aswell run away, and in worst case you will be caught then nothing extra will be charged towards you, just pass info to insurance.

Had a lady hit our car opening her door and scratching our door, she said why do we care, we probably have lots of scratches on car (1 year old Toyota Venza).
She said she's not paying for anything and if we want to call insurance, I told her she has deductible and she will pay out of her pocket anyway and have a claim against her, but she said to call insurance.
This was a scratch a size of a quarter, I just gave up, I felt like I was talking to a neanderthal and just left.
