5 guys is good, but super overpriced. We need a place like Sonny's in Brampton or Johnny's Hamburgers in Scarborough.

Holy crap yes! Grew up around the corner from Sonny's in Brampton, never had a better burger at 3 am on a Sat night in my life :P

Also currently work near Zed's on airport in Mississauga, great food there as well, Milton is severely lacking in the "seedy as hell but awesome food" category.

No love for the Works? I was unimpressed the first couple of times going in but on the last visit the burgers were a little better quality, still on the too pricey side of things however.

Johnny's at Vic Park and Shepard brings back memories. Whenever I am visiting the old hood, I generally stop in for one of their burgers, always tempted for one of their chocolate shakes, but that would be pushing it.

That was my old stomping ground as well, and I LOVED Johnny's! Really makes me want to make a trek to my parents place right now.

Visit your Parents, don't visit Johnny's! I went there a few years ago and the burgers were crap! I thought they were good when I was in my early 20's, but I realized they were only good because I needed something to eat after leaving a bar!

When you're drunk and hungry, anything will do!

Went to Hero Burger today, they are open. They are under new management and went through renovations to fix the place up.

Had one of their burgers, was pretty good to me.

Wife and I went to hard rock cafe' down in the falls on the weekend as we wanted a bite leaving the hotel. I expected a chappy, over priced burger (I had the legend burger) but was very surprised to get a 10 oz. Burger as good as I've ever had. Not cheap, but not outrageous either. I will get another if I am ever in another hard rock.

I am loving Zets on airport road, followed by Apache burgers on Kipling and dundas with a shout out to Master steaks.
Thats just my opinion . Zets has the biggest portions that's for sure. If ever driving around the airport and hungry for a large meal Zets is the place. It is almost like those places you see in the states were they pile up all the food on your plate. I had the souvlaki on a bun with fries and it must of been a few pounds of food.
Might not be relevant, to the whole burger discussion but i thought i would just put that in there.
