I managed to get 12 months free with a 3-year contract.
Service is amazing. Best and more reliable service I've ever had.
One of my services was only marked as free for 6 months, but a quick call straightened that out. No issues with billing since.
Make sure you have records as to whom you spoke about this as others have mentioned that they did not have good experience when they were told something but bills indicated otherwise.
I second this! Make sure to not only get the person's name, but also a confirmation number and request that they EMAIL you a copy of the deal for proof.
When I set up my 6 months free before we moved in, I was skeptical so I asked for the Associate's name and they gave me their employee ID code. After I a got my first bill (can't remember the cost, but I'm thinking around $160), I called to tell them they had made a mistake. I spoke to a few people, but in summary they told me that no such deal exists and i "should have been skeptical about such a deal" and when i told them the person's employee code they said there was no way to transfer me to that person. After much debate they agreed to give us free internet and home phone for a year.. so I just pay about $80 for TV.
Even after that negotiating, I've had several issues with our bill being incorrect, and getting random $100 equipment not returned fees.. I even called to cancel and was hung up on TWICE after I told them the reason for my call was to cancel...so I gave up. I'm happy with the actual service of the TV/Internet ...but the customer service is the worst i have dealt with in my life.
