If it is really little ones I think it is something called as fruit fly.

Over watering of home plants is one of the possible feeding source for them.

I saw # 689 last weekend around playground in Coats Crossing.
It was lots of them.

I accidentally went through a huge swarm of them today... I think I swallowed one :( They are all over the place. (in Oakville)

Yes...we have the flying ones around here too! Pain in the butt. They are everywhere..front of the house, back of the house, parking lots of stores...
It really is gross.
