Hi,
Has anyone in phase 2 received their design guide? If so, what's your closing date?
I'm trying to figure out how much longer we have to wait for ours.

Thanks!

We're in Phase 2, close on April 21st, 2016 and haven't received our design guide.

When is your closing date?

Our closing is May 17th... It's still a year away, but I'm anxious to start budgeting for our upgrades.

Everytime I contact them they have no real indication as to when it will be ready. It supposed to be 6 weeks after purchase... But clearly this is not the case.

My life's mission has become getting our design book. Our closing date is March 30th. I have called, emailed, etc. We were initially told "2 weeks" when we purchased in January. Then in March we were told "another 6-8 weeks". We got creative and started to think of ways we could get the book sooner than later... told them we would be out of the country - didn't work. Told them we had investments rolling over at the bank - denied again. I can wait on the appointment, but the book would really help for budgeting.

Hoping we get our book soon

for all the budgeting purpose, keep extra $20k if you planning to spend on upgrades or additions.

Based on the response it appears you want to go for upgrades, so the above number is a safe bet.

No need to talk about collapsing the investment or the talk of vacation because the number above is a sweet spot or most case scenario.

Hi Rosaj2!

We're Lot #179 on Orr Terrace (Lancaster, FC). Which are you!?

We're very anxious to get our design guide as well, not only for budgeting purposes, but also just to be able to know what the upgrade options are.

I think the $20k estimate is pretty good. Our upgrades added up to $17.5k but had the $5k incentive which brought it down. We didn't go crazy but did A few things that would be difficult to do after the fact. Our DC was great. She suggested things we hadn't thought of such as having the rough in for under cabinets light as we were adding a backsplash. We close in November this year and had our appt at the beginning of April.

Glad I'm not the only one trying different maneuvers to get the book!!

An approximate price for the group 2 hardwood upgrade would be fantastic. If you could give me the upgrade price for the great room of your home, I can get an idea of roughly how much it would be for mine.

This is our second Mattamy build. The first time around we spent $20k. Our design book is from 2009, so I figure those prices are outdated. I'm anticipating about $40k for this house.

Thanks in advance for your help!
