I need to get some work done on my house, and I'm wondering if anyone knows any contractors who did a really good job on their house?

I'd really like to not end up on Holmes on Homes :P

Thanks,

Jon

Jim at Handyman Enterprises. He does it all and is proud of his work.

what kind of work and are you looking to hire each trade by yourself? you'll save money doing that, rather than a general contractor.

I did my basement for $15K doing some work myself and the majority by hiring individual trades.

The work would be some exterior work--replacing a couple wood planks on the facing of my house, sanding, priming, and painting.
