drove by the plant today....and it seems to hold about 8-10 homes.......should be wonderful sight to see them role out....i would expect a role out in the next week or two....

They have paved Salvoline through to phase three, so if you follow Salvoline all the way south it takes you to the factory, but you can see it from the site, it's the giant warehouse near Tremaine road.

And I agree with william... will be neat to see it full of houses, and see how finished they are when they roll out... I'm curious just how finished it will be when it rolls out... will it have the siding and brick already? What about plumbing or electrical that goes into the basement?

Still, it's pretty neat, and I'm glad they're going to do it that way... you see so many houses being built on site with busted insulation, or that get rained on in the framing stage for weeks, that as long as they line up the foundation right it should be much better.

steve,
i know they will be drywalled and so the electrical and plumbing will be all roughed in....not sure how far else it goes on the interior...as far as the exterior goes, windows are in , shingles are on....and the brick will not as it needs to be layed and supported starting from the foundation after they roll out the house and set it on the foundation...

I'm getting really excited. Colin mentioned that the first home will come out in late August or September and Mattamy was going to make an event out of it.

How many people are hoping that the model that comes out is their's? I know I am, :oops: :lol: .

Also, is this anybody's home? Are there any closings for September, or even October?

I'm getting giddy here.
