Can anyone recommend a good way to clean grout?

We did not seal it and are now regretting it. The corners of the room are grey and the high traffic areas are much darker. Is there an easy way to clean the dirty grout before I seal it? Any magic tricks out there?

Thanks
Matt

Maybe try the Mr. Clean magic eraser?

My mom spilled red wine all over her floor tiles and it stained the grout... she used the magic eraser a few weeks later and it came right out.

What's the best product to use to seal the grout to avoid this problem?

When we listed our house we had to scrub the floors. Make it look new right!!! We went to home depot and bought Grout cleaner, I believe the bottle cost approximately $20, maybe a little less. Pour the liquid on the floor and start scrubbing with a bristle brush. It took my husband about 4 hours of elbow grease to do the kitchen, front entrance and powder room.
Long story short, the floors look amazing, the grey floors are white again.
Horray!!!
