The first 4 pictures show the transformation of the Greensburg A garage from framework...to spray foamed

Image

Notice they are not spraying the front portion of the brick.

My only reason for this is potential for a dual vapour barrier, which may not be good.

What do you guys think? Should this also be spray foamed? Or is it a bad idea?

Take for instance 364L and 364R. 364R has a roof outcrop infront,

while 364L does not

We found a Greensburg B, which is the same as ours and noticed a curious thing.

The garage, with the room above the garage, front face inside the garage has blue styrofoam and a plastic underlayer.

Sorry for the DL, but I wanted to show the full effect of this image, so I left it large

So keep this in mind for your homes as well. I think it should be standard. Maybe the builder forgot this???

All I know is the version "B" is an all brick, so there is the blue styrofoam all over the house, while the other versions of the Greensburg has siding and brick...like many of the other houses too.

I understand what they have done in the garage.

Check out these two pictures.

The brick layers and putting a brick wall in front of the bedroom above the garage, in front of the styrofoam.

Very nice.
