Ok, here is a pretty stupid question, but we are stumped on this...

Where exactly does the wall oven vent ? We noticed that there is no vent to the exterior where the wall oven is being installed in our new house, does it simply vent into the kitchen ?

We can see the vent in the kitchen that goes over the stove leading to the exterior, but no venting where the wall oven will be installed.

Is that normal ? Anyone with a wall oven currently installed know anything about how this is setup ?

Ovens, regular or wall mount, don't need to be vented...right?

We are having a wall oven installed in our new home, but right now with a regular stove/oven the only venting is over the stove.
I assumed that this would be the case with a seprate oven and cooktop.

Ya, we're getting a wall oven too, but not experienced with it to know. The exhaust vent is usually just over the stove. The oven may not need to be vented.
