Those look good.

I was shown the standard chandalier (SP) for the dining room, which was brass and looked really cheap.

Thanks for posting these.

They are so much better than what we were expecting and saves us money as the first thing I had planned was to replace all door handles and light fixtures throughout the house.

Rick, would it be possible for you to e-mail these pics to me in the original resolution ?

Thanks
Derek

Hi Derek. The pictures are posted in the original resolution that I received them in. I didn't shrink them down any further.

Much better than the originals. I wonder why Mattamy is volunteering to upgrade these in houses which have been bought a long time ago... oh well. I should learn not to question, and simply be happy. Thanks for posting these pics.

Hello All,

My wife and I visited the design centre on Sunday and learned that while the old first upgrade to the sink, shower & soaker tub faucets is the new standard, the standard kitchen faucets are still from the original standard package. I asked about pricing and they did not have any to share.

Also, I don't know if it is just me or what but I have to stop assuming things as regards this whole “what upgrades should be chosenâ€

The light in our shower is flush mounted. We did not upgrade it so there may be different styles for different models. Is your picture from a townhouse / semi / 36' / etc...

Paul

Yes.

I didn't know there was an option for the shower light.

Does it make a difference?

Tim

No problem guys. Once I get my web pages made, I'll have lots to show.

The recessed light that we have in the shower is an upgrade! We did not pay for it - WOW I think we go something for free from Mattamy. :D To bad they did not mess up on the flooring. You know, hardwood instead of carpet by mistake :D

Ha Paul, don't we all wish that!

Here are some more pics that I took...

One of the bulb type light fixture

Wow something free from Mecel. But there has to be some type of catch.

Here is the Standard thermostat from Mattamy.

Here is the Upgraded digital thermostat from Mattamy.

Mattamy or the contractors are putting tags on some of the outlets...Cool

One of the bathrooms with strip lighting & mirror...Cool, we get a mirror in all our bathrooms.

We even get metal shelving to boot.

I've already bought my digital thermostat and received my $15 rebait from enbridge gas. Should be cut and dry to install. Don't buy it from Mattamy, its too much for what it is worth.

Tim how much was the digital thermostat from Enbridge? I am thinking of buying one myself too.

I don't know what the Enbridge thermostat costs. I got mine from Canadian tire.

At my PDI I was told that if you purchase the thermostat from anyone other than Applewood (the supplier) you will void the current warranty.

They get you coming or going. She said that if you purchase with another company see if they will pick up the warranty.
