We put out our green bin, recycling and garbage bags today. Garbage bags are gone, everything else is still there.

Did we mess up?

If you're in phase 14, I think they just picked up in the past hour or two. I got home at around 8:15, and it looked like the truck just went by.

Garbage is every 2 wks -- now (6 bag limit) and Recycling & green bin is every wk now ---

I'm in Phase 9 - our house has been here for 5 years. Garbage was gone but green bins and recycling were still full when we went to bed last night at 11pm, but they were empty this morning at 6am. I know they said the schedule might change, but that seems a little ridiculous!

Oh, well. At least it's gone.

My recycling and green bin was picked up at 10:00 pm last night!!

I can't even believe they were working that late - they had to have been delayed somehow yesterday.

I think there might have been some problems or delays somewhere in collecting the garbage. I was out at the neighbourhood watch meeting and the garbage on my side of Yates was picked up after 730. The other side of Yates was picked up earlier in the day.

Well see next week if its the same timetable.

I wonder if they are ever going to expand the use of the green bin to include diapers and pet waste? I see that in Vaughn these items are allowed in the green bin.

HA HA I wish. As someone who will be using a LOT of diapers in the coming weeks that would make a lot of sense.

Unfortunately when the region worked on getting the Green Cart Program up, those items are not to be used in it.

I put out 5 bags and they left one behind (there was nothing special about it - same as all the others). Anybody else have this happen?
