Hi there,

We are in the midst of finalizing our color choices and am desperate to find out if anyone has chosen the same tile that we are thinking about. We would hopefully like to see it laid out in a home before we make our final selection so...does/ has anyone chosen the 13X13 "Slate Peacock" Tile (1st tile upgrade) and has it been installed? Do you like it? HELP!!!!!

Anyone...anyone choose this tile???

my inlaws just retiled thier foyer with a slate tile called peacock slate i dont have a picture of thier tile but i found this one on the net and it looks pretty much like thiers does...but theirs has a black base unlike this picture

the only thing that i will caution you about is that they come in boxes of 12 i think and within that box their are some tiles that are pretty much all black some with a mix of black and the rust colour and others that are all the rust colour...if you mix them right and do not install the ones that are all rust coloured (no black at all on the tile) it will look great however if you use all the tiles in the box without omitting the ones that look really different the floor may look spotted as the rust coloured ones will look out of place...thats the beauty of doing it yourself ...IMO i dont think that mattamy will pick and choose the ones the lay on the floor...just something to think about.....
