I am 100% interested in soccer!

Sorry when I see football I still think soccer .. damn immigrants

Wondering if there's a place to play footie around Milton....with the EPL season ending, there'll be no footie until mid August

Not sure how your comment will be viewed. You may want to tone down the reteric about 'immigrants' as there are several here (including me).

I personally play both and so do my kids, so which one is it now? Football or soccer??

UrbanSports league offers soccer - http://urbansports.ca/
They attempted to run a flag football league last summer but didn't have enough entries. There are some mens flag football leagues farther afield you can dig up.

One of the other sports leagues in town http://www.miltonsportsclub.ca/ only offeres volleyball and softball for the summer.

http://www.miltonsoccerleague.com/ had a website up a week or so ago but its gone away (or down) at the moment

Or get a field and play some touch football with friends sounds like lots of fun

If you're starting something let me know maybe I'll come embarrass myself sometime.

Count the 3 of us in for football. May I suggest the new park on Philbrook, south of Yates? It has stands for spouses, kids etc. as well as a basket ball court for those that want to play hoops before or after.

I'll take a stab at the date...Sunday at 4pm on May 18?

It looks like it'll be loads of fun. How's the date (May 18 @ 4pm) at the new park off Philbrook?

Just so we know the numbers coming, we will be 3. 1 adult and 2 boys (10,12).

I don't think it worked out yesterday due to the weather. We live right across the park but couldn't see any of the players at 4pm. Maybe some other time...
