I just realized after about 6 months my neighbor thinks my name is Tim?!

I never really listened to him when he greeted me until yesterday...

So now how do i go about telling him my name? He has been calling me Tim for over 6 months now.....

I figured it's a little early to send a Christmas card with a picture?!

Any advise?

Too funny....I would explain it him the way you did on here...you never noticed before that he was calling you the wrong name. That happened to me in my old neighbourhood, I had one of the neighbours names wrong and had probably called her by the wrong mae a few times before she corrected me. No harm done :)

Just tell him you changed your name to Wil when your father passed away, it was his name, so you don't go by Tim anymore, its sentimental.

I'm totally kidding, just have your wife run out of the house when she sees you are both out there. Or get a new license plate 'WILSCAR'

If that doesn't work, have your wife order one of these...

Hey, Wil ... go over with a couple of beers and just tell him. If you say it while handing him a beer, he won't be embarrassed all that much.

See, that's why, even if I think I know the guy's name, I call all my neighbors "dude", "man", "buddy", etc... it's so much easier than actually learning their names in the first place.

The only ones I make sure and learn the names of are the ones I'm got on my list. It's a list of neighbors I'm gonna get real good if they walk by and I have a hose.

Yeah... you read that right, Hanif. :twisted:

Anyway, sorry to hijaak your thread Tim. You keep calling Kevin whatever you want.

Wil, should I be updating my wedding programs to say Tim, or Kevin? I'm confused. What are you going by these days? :razz:

Start calling your neighbour by the wrong name - use a different one everytime. :)
