oh man, that does look really good! theres no room for a table though now is there? what about in the family room? any room in there for a table?

Yes, we have a full dining room table in the seperate dining area on other side of great room. We find we don't use it much since we are always on the run. Someday we will have a full on family meal :?

Would you mind terribly mind posting a pic (if you've got it) from the entrance way into the living room, and maybe from on the couch side... I really like it, but am weary that we'll have room for everything.

Our kitchen dimensions are not too far off of yours....

DSTR-that's basically the size of our kitchen. :) That makes me feel better.

Just a question though-I love your colours! Do you remember what they were called? And were they upgrades?

Thanks a lot!
-the cabinets are Hazelnut Maple in Polo Club
-the floor tile is discontinued as far as I know, but it was Calebduro Euro ( or something like that)
-the counter is Sidewalk Bistro
-our paint in the kitchen (and throughout) is Portebello and our living room we painted ourselves in Urban Putty

ps...they are all standards.

oh wow!! thanks, there looks liek there is a lot of space still... i'm gonna show these to hubby so he can get a sense of space too, I really liek the island :D Thanks so much!

Well, I would like to say we got the stools at some expensive furniture store...
but we got them at a clearance sale at the Superstore in Georgetown. I love a good deal!
