We went to the design center to sign some papers and we noticed they have a new cabinet door option as well as new (or more) options for cabinet door handles.

We changed ours to one of the new choices and they are much nicer, in our opinion anyway.

I'm guessing it would be Canac since we are in a town and that is the supplier for the townhouses.

Yes it is Canac.

The door is just another colour of a style they already have, I don't know what it is called. But it is the same style as the expresso colour door in the SOHO package. The new colour is a standard door and is a brown colour. (I know....Brown colour isn't very helpful)

Tiffany or Brian,

Would you possibly look and see what stain it is, if you don't mind? I am dying to know. Do you have it on your copy of selections that they gave you?

Sorry I don't know what it is, we didn't pick it, we just asked if anything else is new and they pointed out the door. We would have to change everything else to go along with the door so we didn't want to look at it.

they've got a couple of new colours, one is called Kafe - it's a really great dark shade - we picked it for our kitchen cabinets in Mission Maple

Is that an upgrade or standard?

i stuck with standard door cabinets and the more expensive long brushed nickel handles, makes the kitchen look 10x better (and more expensive looking!) lol

Does anyone know of the other new colours that are available? I like the Kafe but everything we are doing in our house is so dark (tiles, hardwood...) that we went with white cupboards for the kitchen. I really wanted an off-white or a cream but those were upgrades. Did anyone see any new colours like that?

Yay!!! We were able to switch to the Kafe colour for the kitchen! I can't wait, now I am so excited... we changed the stair stain to walnut to hopefully make it match a bit more.

I was really thinking that we wouldn't be able to switch it, so I dind't get my hopes up but now I can get excited yay!!

Thanks Carol!!

When is your closing date? Just trying to see if there's any way I can get them to change ours too, even though they already said no.
